Mariann Johnson brings to Snyder Leadership Group more than 25 years of experience in leadership and team development/chartering, conflict coaching, strategic planning, mediation services, and process designs for a variety of clients, including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and Fortune100/500 companies. Johnson also has considerable experience in the design and facilitation of public policy initiatives that require effective collaboration. She contributes a strong interest in mindfulness and leadership to the team’s work at Snyder Leadership Group.
As the principal of M. T. Johnson & Associates, an organization development consulting company, Johnson specializes in effective systems change, conflict resolution, and collaboration.
She is past board president of Conflict Resolution Minnesota, and serves as mediator with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and the United States Department of Justice/ADA Keybridge Foundation. Johnson is a qualified neutral under the MN State Supreme Court (Rule 114). She also belongs to the International Association of Facilitators, Association for Conflict Resolution, the Minnesota Organization Development Network, and Minnesota Facilitators Network.
Johnson holds a BA in Speech Communication and Public Relations from Montana State University – Bozeman and attended St. Mary’s University of Minnesota Graduate School in Organizational Development/Human Development. In addition, she has completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Instructor Practicum training with the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare and Society. She is an instructor with the Institute for Mindful Leadership and teaches MBSR with the University of Minnesota’s Center for Spirituality and Healing.
